QR code without subscription: pay once, not monthly

Most QR code services bill you every month, even though a QR code only needs to be created once. FairQR works differently. You pay one time and keep using your code for good, with no recurring fees.

Static or dynamic: the difference

A static QR code stores the destination directly in the pattern. It cannot be changed, needs no server, and works forever. Perfect when the destination is guaranteed never to change.

A dynamic QR code stores a redirect. The pattern stays the same, but you can swap the destination at any time without reprinting the code. That is useful for menus, campaigns, or addresses that may change.

Why most tools require a subscription

Because a dynamic code needs a permanent redirect, providers run servers to power it. Many fund those servers through a monthly subscription and tie the code's function to an ongoing payment. If the payment stops, the code is often switched off.

Your data stays yours

You are never locked in. All destinations and statistics can be exported in full, as CSV, .htaccess, or JSON. Should FairQR ever wind down, we will give at least 12 months' notice and provide an export so your codes can live on.
